The tax office encouraged the exporters to abandon the purchase of agricultural products from trading houses and agricultural holdings, as they, according to FTS, can be involved in schemes to make false VAT. About it writes today "Kommersant".

FNS offers to purchase products from trading houses under the Agency scheme, or purchase it directly from the farms of the agricultural holding.

"Trading houses can earn that accumulate grain from own production and purchased on the market and sell it to exporters a premium for a large volume or in a more favorable time. It is in principle agent work and cannot be governed by the relevant agreements,"— said the Director of "Sovekon" Andrey Sizov.

"The new recommendation on can lead to serious decline in the sales and export of grain, which can lead to huge losses and producers, and exporters fear a top Manager of a large agricultural holding and one of the exporters. The initiative looks excessive against the background of the installation of the country's authorities on export growth and the continued collapse of prices in the domestic market, adds Mr Sizov. Last week in the European part of Russia the average prices of wheat of the fourth class has dropped another 225 RUB, to 7.35 million RUB per tonne — below the low of the autumn of 2014, according to "Sovekon"".

Grain exports set a record

According to customs data, exports of major cereals in August of 2017 set a record, amounting to 4.75 million tons, including 3.9 million tonnes of wheat, 0.7 mln tonnes of barley and 0.1 million tons of corn. The previous one was installed three years ago, in August 2014, when it was exported about 4.6 million tonnes.

High export is associated with the strengthening of world prices in the previous months against the background of their active reduction in the domestic market, caused by a record supply of grain. "Sovekon" evaluates it in the current season 150 million tons versus 134 million tons a year earlier. Total exports of cereals, legumes and their products in the current season is estimated at 44 million tonnes to 38 million tonnes (score from 21 August). The new export forecast will be released on September 21.
