Cooperation with Russian engineering companies have become one of the key topics at the V Forum of engineering workers of Kazakhstan, which was attended by the President of the Association "Rosspetsmash" Konstantin Babkin. According to the Association "Rosspetsmash", and in 2016 in Kazakhstan was delivered 1464 units of the Russian harvest equipment, tillage equipment 470 units, 350 units of seed technology, 310 agromashin for post-harvest crop handling, 138 tractors.

The growth of deliveries to Russian agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan in 2016 stems from the fact that in the Republic in the sphere of agrarian business increased purchasing power, increased state support for the development of agriculture significantly increased investments in fixed capital in agriculture, and in agriculture introduced a new land.

Also the market of Kazakhstan is one of priority for the Russian manufacturers of road construction equipment. According to customs statistics, in recent years they've shipped to the Republic of 45-55% of the total volume of deliveries abroad. However, in 2016 compared to 2015, the export volume of Russian production of construction and road machinery declined by 39% from 74 to 45 million dollars.

In the past year from Russia to Kazakhstan was delivered, in particular, 240 forklifts and lift trucks, road rollers 60, 54 excavator, crane 51, 29 graders, 21 bulldozer.

To reduce the supplies of Russian construction and road-building machinery in Kazakhstan has led the volatility of the tenge and a decline in effective demand.

Actively export their products to Kazakhstan and food engineering. So, in 2016 the volume of exports from Russia to the Republic of machinery and equipment for the food processing industry in comparison with the year 2015 increased 3% from 12.13 to 12.47 million dollars.
