On September 26, according to the regional agricultural administrative bodies, the gross harvest of greenhouse vegetables in the whole country is 585,9 thousand tons, which is 21.3% more than in the same period last year (in 2016 482,8 thousand tons).

All around the country gathered 398,4 thousand tons of cucumbers (in 2016 – 338 thousand tons) and 178,1 thousand tons of tomatoes (in 2016 – 131 thousand tons). The yield of other vegetable crops is 9.4 thousand tons (2016 – 13.8 thousand tons).

Leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) among the subjects of the Russian Federation became the Krasnodar territory – 72.5 thousand tonnes, Stavropol Krai – 49,6 thousand tonnes, Tatarstan – 35.4 thousand tons, the Republic of Bashkortostan is 33 thousand tons, Karachay-Cherkess Republic – 28.1 thousand tons.
