Subsidies for the agro-industrial complex (AIC) increased by 2.25 billion.

The decree was signed by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

"Approve the enclosed distribution of subsidies in 2017 from the Federal budget to budgets of subjects of the Russian Federation for co-financing ... of objects of agrarian and industrial complex", — quotes "Interfax" document.

It is expected that the government will allocate the money for the reimbursement of expenses on financing of agriculture, including the purchase of machinery and equipment.

The programme covers 38 regions of the country.
