The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the country develops and will operate high-tech agribusiness, the ability to successfully compete in the international market. Speaking about results of work of the agricultural sector this year, the Prime Minister reminded that the grain harvest is planned at a record level of about 132 million tons Medvedev noted that "all this became possible thanks to powerful state support." According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to increase funding of agriculture for the year 2018, another 20 billion and the government the idea "wholeheartedly supports".
