Russia's first plant for the production of Turkey eggs will be built in Penza and running in 2019. Agreement on the project implementation reached on Saturday between the group of companies "Damate" and the company Aviagen Turkeys in the government of the Penza region, the press service of "Damate".

"GC "Damate" company Aviagen Turkeys and the government of the Penza region signed a tripartite Protocol of intent which envisages the construction of complex industrial production Turkey eggs. The company will be the first facility of the company Aviagen for the production of hatching eggs turkeys in Russia", - stated in the message.

The government of the Penza region intends to cooperate fully with the company Aviagen Turkeys in this project and to provide information support of the project in the region. In turn, the "Damate" and Aviagen Turkeys have agreed on the construction of the plant and the supply of hatching eggs to the territory of Regina for "Damate". The company should be commissioned in 2019, and for nine years Aviagen Turkeys should supply hatching eggs at the complex "Damate".

Thus, the group of companies "Damate" will be able 50% provide own needs in the incubation egg.

"The arrival of large companies such as Aviagen and the creation of Turkey breeders in the Penza region is an important step that will allow us in the near future to close most of the needs in the incubation egg," explained CEO Rashid Khairov.
