For January-September on sanitary-chemical, microbiological and physico-chemical parameters the CPS has tested almost 70 thousand samples of confectionery (sugar, flour products, and also products with cocoa).

Toxic elements, pesticides or mycotoxins detected only in one sample. Mold, yeast, pathogenic microorganisms detected in 5.3% of samples. For humidity, acidity or the mass fraction of sugar was far from the norm of 3.6%.

As noted on the website of the regulator, in just 9 months, 4.3 million of rejected lots of confections, the total amount of over 17.8 tons.
