In comparison with the figure at the beginning of December last year, the stocks of grains in agricultural organizations increased by 4,763 million tons (16.8%) to 33,041 million tons, procurement and processing organizations – 2,393 million tons (14%) to 19,517 million tons.

In particular, at the reporting date in the procurement and processing organizations were available 15,177 million tons of wheat (+21,6%), including food – 10,695 million tons (+24.6 per cent).

Stocks of barley as of 1 December rose by 8% to 2,062 million tons, while corn fell by 31.9% to 1,152 million tons.

In addition, the beginning of the month marked by the growth stocks of rye 0.7% to 597 thousand tons, including food – by 3.9%, to 540 thousand tons, and oats – by 36.9%, to 189 thousand tons.

At the same time, a decrease compared to the figure at the beginning of November 2016 of stocks of buckwheat – by 2.1%, to 103 thousand tons, rice - by 25.5%, to 38 thousand tons, millet – by 36.5%, to 23 thousand tons.
