Company Valio will begin sales in new product categories in Russia. Valio ice cream is manufactured at the company's plant in Oulu. The product is made from Finnish milk , which is supplied to the production with its own dairy farms of Finnish concern. Jams and syrups for toppings are made on the Valio plant in seinäjoki. Ice cream will be presented in the Russian market in four flavors: "Strawberry-Basil", "Caramel", "Macchiato" and "Blueberry crumb of rye bread."

The novelty will go on sale in a family pack with capacity of 480 ml. the Product will be presented in the segment "premium".

Ice cream is one of the traditionally, the Russians favorite desserts, and we see potential for growth in this category. According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, this product does not fall under the food embargo. In addition to ice cream, Valio exports of Finnish lactose-free milk Valio Eila, infant formula Baby Valio, as well as a variety of non-dairy products (juices, fruit drinks, PEGI, water).
