The Ministry of agriculture is holding a series of meetings with representatives of the food processing industry to assess the possibility of increasing the export potential of agro-industrial complex until 2025, when, according to the new target, exports should reach $ 45 billion. This is more than twice the figure achieved in 2017.

"To address these ambitious tasks for a substantial increase in exports associated with the formation of the expert group on the export development, agricultural specialists from all sub-sectors. You need to find the point of growth and to formulate a road map for achieving the target indicators in the context of specific projects and enterprises", - said Dmitry Krasnov.

The confectionery industry is one of the locomotives of Russian exports: last year the external trade of dairy products reached $ 1 billion. Today the industry has, according to experts, the potential of uvelicheniya Atocha pokazatelja 2.4% to 2025.

The positive development also demonstrate the tea and coffee industries. Last year exports were shipped 6.6 thousand tons of coffee (+32% compared to last year) and 16.9 thousand tons (+13%).

The meeting participants discussed the stages of development of the program of development of processing of agricultural products with export perspective, the existing logistics constraints and ways to overcome them, improving international competitiveness of Russian enterprises.
