International Fund for agricultural development the government will allocate Kyrgyzstan $12.7 million (796,6 million) as a loan and the same amount in the form of a grant. The ratification of the corresponding agreement was approved by the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, writes the press service of the head of state.

In the framework of the project "access to markets", implemented in the money, the Republic will receive financial and technical assistance that will contribute to improving agricultural production, capacity building, processing industry and the competitiveness of all of agriculture.

IA REGNUM recalls that, according to official data of the Ministry of Finance, at the end of 2017, the nominal gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan has reached the amount of 520 billion 958,6 million soms (about 473,6 billion at current exchange rates).

The contribution of agriculture to the economy in this period was equal to 64 billion 225,1 million soms (more than 58.3 billion rubles), or 12.3% of GDP.

Note that the public debt of Kyrgyzstan is now is about 299 billion 760,2 million soms (272,5 billion) or 55.7 per cent of GDP. Of this amount, 264 billion 521,6 million soms (about 240,5 billion) is external debt of the Republic.
