Only in Karachay-Cherkessia sugar factory introduces new packaging options, running the first line, sugar refinery, said on Monday TASS in the Ministry of agriculture of Karachay-Cherkessia.

"Only until 15 August it is planned to install and run eight more lines, which will create 45 new jobs. In addition, the opening of a workshop of the refinery will allow the plant to switch to year-round mode of operation, the company operates 100 days a year", - said the Agency.

Previously the plant was only one line of packaging - 50 kg in 2017 launched a packaging in bags of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 kg.

Earlier it was reportedthat in February of last year began a large-scale modernization of the enterprise. This allowed to double the productivity and process up to 6 thousand tons of beets per day, and by 2020, the refining capacity is planned to increase to 12 thousand tons of beet per day.

"In 2017, the sugar factory has processed 224,7 thousand tons of beets. Enterprise modernization is ongoing," the Ministry noted.

Karachaevo-Circassian sugar factory has been operating since 1964 and is a backbone enterprise for the economy of the village Erken-Shakhar and all of the Nogai district of Karachay-Cherkessia. This is the single largest taxpayer of the municipality and the only sugar plant in the territory of the KCR. The company employs about 400 people.
