Company "United engineering Corporation", registered in the Orel region, intends to invest about 1.6 billion rubles in the construction in the region of the complex for growing mushrooms, said TASS Deputy Chairman of the regional government Dmitry Butusov.

"Mushroom production on an industrial scale - a new direction in the agricultural sector in Orel region. The capacity of the industrial complex, which intends to build a "United technology Corporation", may exceed 3 thousand tons of mushrooms per year. The volume of investment is about 1.6 billion. We make every effort to ensure that this project was implemented in the shortest time," - said Butusov.

To complete the construction of the production complex is planned in 2019. For this purpose in the Novosil district investor granted a land area of about 23 hectares.

"This project is interesting because it does not require involvement in the turnover of large areas of agricultural land, given that about 99% of arable land in the region is in process. The company is completing the development of the complex. After he passes the state examination, will sign an agreement. It will entitle the investor to receive tax preferences," - said Butusov.

According to the press service of the regional government, agricultural project is new for the investing company that operates in the Orel region in 2015. Its main activity - manufacture of industrial refrigeration and ventilation equipment.
