- in the Volga Federal district – 15.5 mln ha, or 97.6% of the forecast (2017 15.3 million hectares).

in the North-West Federal district – 405,6 thousand ha or 76.4% of the forecast (2017 – 394,1 thousand hectares).

Spring grain and leguminous crops in the whole country was sown on the area of 29.4 million ha or 94.6% of the forecast (2017 30.8 million ha). Of them, spring wheat planted on an area of 12.1 million ha or 93.6% of the forecast (2017 13.1 million hectares). Spring barley was sown on the area of 7.7 million hectares or 100.4% of the forecast (2017 – 7.5 million ha). Corn for grain was sown on an area of 2.6 million ha or 85,7% of the forecast (2017, 3.0 million ha). Rice is planted on the area of 164,2 thousand hectares or 89,1% of the forecast (2017 – 181,1 thousand hectares).

Sugar beet (factory) planted on an area of 1.1 million hectares or 103,8% of the forecast (2017 to 1.2 million hectares).

Flax was sown on the area of 39.5 hectares, or 89.2% of the forecast (2017 – 39.8 thousand hectares).

Sunflower planted on an area of 7.8 million hectares, or 103,5% of the forecast (2017 – 7.5 million ha).

Soybeans planted on an area of 2.7 million hectares or 99.3% of the forecast (2017 and 2.4 million hectares).

Spring rape was sown on an area of 1.3 million hectares or 128,3% of the forecast (2017 – 860,9 thousand hectares).

In the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farmer) farms kartoffelfest on the square of 290.2 thousand hectares, or 94.9 per cent of the forecast (2017 – 279,5 thousand hectares).

Vegetables (in AES and KFH) were sown 155,8 hectares 88.6% of the forecast (2017 – 162,9 thousand hectares).
