In 2017, the volume of exports of fresh apricots from Uzbekistan was reduced from 50 to 23 thousand tons, according to June 20 analytical portal EastFruit.

According to the publication, in 2016, Uzbekistan took the second place on this indicator among the countries of the world. The result of the halving of exports of apricots Republic fell to sixth place.

The largest exporters of apricots are Spain, Turkey, France, Italy and Greece. Experts say that almost 100% of Uzbek apricots delivered on the Russian market.
