It is important to note that we are actively involved in the study of bioethanol production on the territory of the Republic and proposed additional alternative uses of the capacity and resource of the alcohol industry. We offer more economical production technology due to the developments of interdisciplinary cooperation," he said.

As earlier reported, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on introducing to the state Duma a draft law associated with the regulation of production and turnover of ethanol, used as fuel. The bill was developed in North Ossetia in 2008.
Enterprises of the Republic are ready to reprofile under the production of bioethanol. This will provide additional revenues to the budget of the Russian Federation and the Republic in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles per year. Now in North Ossetia is already working on the establishment of cooperation with potential buyers of bio-ethanol.
