Positive dynamics is due to targeted work with key partners of PGK in the North Caucasus – plants "Novorostsement" and holding "EUROCEMENT group", as well as the increase of cement demand from consumers of the South of Russia and construction companies in the neighboring regions.

"Further growth of indicators contributes to the implementation of measures for the efficient use of rolling stock. In connection with the demand for hopper-cement carriers in the high season we are working with shippers to control the process of discharge and work to reduce downtime of wagons under the freight operations. As a result, we have reduced the number of long-term idle cement in this half-year by almost a third, to 403 units over the same period last year. Additionally, the volume of production of "Kavkaztsement" failed to carry in covered cars," – said the Director of branch Vadim Zhukov.

"From the beginning of 2018 "Novoroscement" significantly increased the proportion of freight car loading freight. By attracting new consignees in remote areas increased the number of shipments of finished products in the hopper-cement trucks for the long haul. PGK showed in the first half of good opportunities in the operational capacity of the Park empty cars for loading," – said Deputy commercial Director of "Novoroscement" Dmitry Alamanov.

The amount of load in the hopper-the hoppers grew up during the reporting period by 15% to 800 thousand tons in covered wagons by 13%, to 86 thousand tons. Cars transported 142 thousand tons of cement per specmaster with the use of shrink film.

The cargo was followed with stations of the North-Caucasian Railways in local traffic, as well as the address of the consignees of the Central Chernozem region, Volga region, Moscow and Leningrad regions, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
