The volume of meat products supplied to Turkey from Russia since the beginning of the year amounted to 300 thousand tons, 27 July, told journalists that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev.

While in Tver region on a working visit, Gordeyev said that meat production in Turkey this year alone sold 300 tons. And this, according to the official, is not the limit:

"But you have to go supply a million tons."

As previously reported IA REGNUM, Gordeyev said that Turkey imported the first batch of Russian beef and plan to begin sales of poultry meat. This, according to him, expects Turkish businesses.
