In the Makariev district of the Kostroma region opened a new plant "Steward" for the production of cheese by monastic recipes, informs GTRK "Kostroma". The company plans to produce 2 tons of cheese a day.
As noted in the news Agency K1news.ru the cheese factory is running at the Holy Trinity Makarievo-Unzha monastery in the village of Makar Polovikova district. Cheese is scheduled to release given the ancient monastic traditions.
"We will produce solid, semi-solid cheeses. Quality cheeses, which ripen for a few months — from four months to a year, and it is really high quality cheese made by traditional technologies," — said the Director of the plant "Cellarer" Alexey Kazankov.
The plant employs 40 Kostroma. At the moment the enterprise starting-up and adjustment work and produced an experimental batch of cheese.
