In Uzbekistan on the base of the unused objects "Ferganaazot" together with companies from Switzerland and Ukraine plan to launch the plant for production of chemical means of protection of plants, according to the August 2 edition "in Detail.uz", citing a source in the "Uzhimprom".

Investors plan to enclose in the project about $5 million Objects "Ferganaazot" will be transferred to foreign companies at "zero" redemption cost with acceptance of investment obligations. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2021.

As reported IA REGNUM, July 31 at the meeting on development of agriculture, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieev said that the survival of the cotton bollworm after the winter 2017/2018 year was 76%. This circumstance threatens the cotton crop.
