Among the 18 inspected in 2017, only 7 sites (39%) met the requirements of good manufacturing practice. In 2018, 63% of the total number of sites inspected (12 of 19) received a conclusion on compliance of production to requirements of good manufacturing practice.

It should be noted that the foreign manufacturers exporting medicinal products for veterinary use in the Russian Federation, in preparation for the inspection based on the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation. This is facilitated by close cooperation between the Rosselkhoznadzor and representatives of the business community, in particular:

- organization of several meetings in the format of round tables;

- meetings of the reference group of the Rosselkhoznadzor for questions inspections of foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers for compliance with GMP;

- placing information on the official websites of Rosselkhoznadzor and fgbi "VGNKI".

The fgbi "VGNKI" suggest to representatives of foreign manufacturers of veterinary medicines to take an active part in such events. The next meeting in the format of a round table will be held in the framework of the III all-Russian GMP conference, to be held in Kazan from 27 to 29 August this year.
