In the Lipetsk region are summed up competition on selection of farms to receive budget subsidies to new farmers on the creation and development of farms. As reported the press service of the regional administration, at the same time, the competition Commission considered the applications for grants for development of family livestock farms and the development of material-technical base of agricultural consumer cooperatives.

In 2018 for grants to selected 18 projects of beginning farmers from 11 districts. The main directions of beef and dairy cattle, poultry, horticulture, greenhouse production. Also support will be provided to eight projects on development of dairy and beef cattle at the family-run livestock farms. Material-technical base will be able to improve seven cooperatives involved in the purchase and processing of milk, meat and vegetables.

The amount of state support allocated for the development of farmers ' movement in 2018, higher than last year and amounts to 39.6 million rubles, including 28.5 million from the Federal budget and 11.1 million rubles — from the regional budget. On the development of family livestock farms selected 65.9 million rubles, of which 47.5 million — Federal funds. Agricultural consumer cooperatives will get to 64.2 million rubles.

Federal and regional funds are allocated to farmers in 2012. In 2017 in the framework of the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs of the Lipetsk region" co-financed from the Federal budget 21 farmer was provided grant support to 60,6 million roubles. The Executive head of the region Oleg Korolev emphasized the growing contribution of farmers to the total volume of produced agricultural products.
