"So, in December 2015, imports of mandarins increased in comparison with October 2015 to 4 times, while average contract prices declined by 33.1%. In 2016, shipments rose 3.4 times (prices decreased by 22.9%), 2017, the growth amounted to 2.8% (reduction of prices by 10%)", — noted in the Ministry of agriculture.
Volume of import of tangerines in September 2018 increased in comparison with August, at 2.2 times, whereas the contract price fell by 11.8%. "Therefore, the agriculture Ministry expects no growth of average contract and, as a consequence, retail prices for mandarins this year", — concluded the Ministry.
