"The parties also discussed the possibility of revising the Moroccan side of high customs duties on imports of grain products from Russia, as well as the frequency of their use. In this way Dianati informed the Russian party that the matter is within the competence of the National Bureau of grain and leguminous cultures of the Kingdom of Morocco (ONICL) and promised to provide possible assistance in this issue", - said the Rosselkhoznadzor.

Thus, Morocco had no claims on the quality of the imported Russian grain, said Janati.

As previously reported by the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev, speaking at the intergovernmental Commission in Rabat, Russia intends to restore grain exports to Morocco up to 735 thousand tons - the peak level in 2016, Then the value of deliveries reached 116 million dollars. The Minister pointed out that by the end of 2018 the turnover of agricultural products between Russia and Morocco could grow to $ 0.5 billion.
