The share of imports of manufactured goods in Kazakhstan will decrease in the coming years to 14-15%, said Minister of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Zhenis Kasymbek, reported on 21 February, the Agency "KazTAG".

According to him, for the development of the economy "the simple things" in Kazakhstan it is planned to launch the mechanism is available lending companies, which will be allocated 600 billion tenge ($1.59 billion). The Minister said that 400 billion tenge ($1.06 billion) will be directed in the manufacturing industry.

Kassymbek added that the additional financing will allow to launch production of about 250 consumer goods.

As reported IA REGNUM, in 2018, the external trade turnover of Kazakhstan amounted to $93,5 billion, including exports — $61 billion, import — $32.5 billion and the import Volume for the reporting period grew by 7.5%.
