A specialized port complex for transshipment of grain will build the Chinese company "Unitsin" on the Amur river. The project will be implemented in Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk region), Blagoveshchensk (Amur region) and Nizhneleninskoye (EAO). The capacity of the terminal by 2024 will reach 20 million tons per year. Products, mainly silage and soybeans will be exported to Japan, China and South Korea.
River terminal for transshipment of grain will be built along with a checkpoint at the border, it is included in the project and is very important. The project includes crop production — investment in this sector will amount to 10 billion rubles, the development of infrastructure — 15 billion rubles. Chinese investor plans to build a river transshipment terminal near Khabarovsk for transshipment of agricultural products and to transport products to buy some barges in the shipyards of Khabarovsk territory.
The company "Unitsin" is one of the largest agricultural corporations in the northeast of China. Between the Chinese investor and the Agency for investment attraction and export support at the far East signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the project.
"We support the arrival of such a major player in the far East. The project in the Khabarovsk Krai will go step by step. Now there are complex design studies. Until September 2019, will be built a warehouse for agricultural products area of 20 thousand square meters, built the checkpoint.
