Total imports of food products regulated by the Rosselkhoznadzor for the period amounted to almost 78 thousand tons.

These data were obtained by employees of the Federal state budget institution "Russian state Center of quality and standardization medicines for animals and feed" (fgbi "VGNKI") as a result of analysis of information-analytical system "Argus".

Last week of 5.39 % of the production (4.2 thousand tons) were imported from the countries of the Eurasian economic Union; of 2.21 % from the Asia-Pacific economic cooperation (1,72 million tons); 7.5% were from EU countries (of 5.84 million tons).

Delivery of products to the territory of Russia in the period under review was mainly carried out by sea and road transportation. Marine (bilge) transport had 32,44 thousand tons. Road traffic accounted 27,28 thousand tons. Container shipping was about 16,73 thousand tons, rail transport – 1,43 thousand tons, air transport – 0,26 tons.
