In the past year, Russia has supplied the Chinese market a little over 800 thousand tons of soybeans, despite the fact that China consumes more than 100 million tons. The Chinese market is so capacious that the whole volume of made in Russia soya will be able to absorb, said Oreshkin.

Previously, the countries signed a plan of cooperation in the sphere of development of production and exports of oilseed products.

According to him, the Russian side intends to expand the acreage and create new production and refining capacity, China will in turn increase purchases of Russian soybeans.
