Market of oilseeds and by-products in Russia

Since the beginning 2013/14 MG (September 2013 06.08.2014) were exported 2 199,3 thousand tons of oils. For the current marketing year the sunflower oil exports amounted to 1 600,8 thousand t (against 1 of 594.5 thousand tons by the results of last week), soybean oil - 305,0 thousand tons (289,6 thousand tons), oil rape - 293,6 thousand tons (287,8 thousand tons).
According to the FCS for July 2014 were exported 130 117,2 tons of oil (103 841,3 t of oil on results of the last week), including soybean oil, 24 536,1 t (against 9 982,68 t last week), sunflower oil - 83 476,2 t (against 77 770,3 t last week), rapeseed oil - 22 101,6 t (against 16 849,3 t last week). Exports in August (from 1 to 6 August 2014) oils amounted 815,5 t, that on 9 767,6 tons less than the same period last year (for the period from 1 to 6 August the export of oil amounted to 10 583,1 t). The soybean oil was exported to 543,2 tons less, than for the similar period of 2013, oils sunflower - 7 486,2 tons of rapeseed oil - on 1 738,0 so
The volume of imports of oil for July amounted to 37.2 thousand tons, including 31 915,5 tons of palm oil, 2 846 tonnes of sunflower oil, 2 260,1 t olive oil.
Since the beginning 2013/14 MG (September 2013 08.08.2014) was imported 650,5 thousand tonnes of oils. For the current marketing year the import of oil palm left 609,3 tons of olive oil to 27.6 thousand tons of sunflower oil - 8,9 thousand tons

Export prices for oilseeds and sunflower oil to Russia and Ukraine, according to IA "AIC-inform" in the reporting week was reduced. So, the offer price (FOB) for Russia was on sunflower oil with 835 USD dropped to USD 830 (-5.0 USD or 0.6%), while for Ukraine the price is reduced from 845 to USD 830 USD (-15,0 USD or 1.8%). For Russia the price for sunflower meal kept the level of the previous week and amounted to 250 USD, and for Ukraine decreased from USD 265 according to the results of last week to 260 USD. Thus, the spread between the bid prices in Ukraine and Russia for sunflower oil decreased from USD 10 to 0.
