The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Ruslan Khasanov, Paraguay - the head of SENAVE Alfredo Gritsuk Almeida.

At the opening of the meeting Ruslan Hasanov noted the importance of Paraguay as a trading partner of Russia. The Deputy head of the Rosselkhoznadzor also noted the need for full compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Russia and the Eurasian economic Union in the supply of the Russian market of Paraguayan soy beans and their products.

Ruslan Khasanov has paid special attention to the fact that in the current year the Rosselkhoznadzor detected in soybeans is not registered in Russia line of GMOs. In turn, Alfredo Gritsuk Almeida noticed that Russia is among the top three trading partners of Paraguay, SENAVE because the service intends to seek a maximum of compliance delivered to the Russian market of products with the requirements of the law, in particular in relation to GMO content.

"Last year, Paraguay exported more than a million tons of soybeans", — reported the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

During the current week the delegation of the SENAVE plans to visit the laboratory of the Centre for grain quality assessment in the Moscow region, laboratories in the Krasnodar region and the Kaliningrad region, as well as the ports of Novorossiysk and Kaliningrad.
