The rise in price of glyphosate-induced growth of prices in China – the main producer and the largest supplier of this herbicide in Ukraine. It should also be noted that the price hike will affect not only suppliers of a generic product, but also multinational companies, whose production of this herbicide is partially located in China.

"Glyphosate technical in China in 2016 went up by 33% and continues to increase the price. As at the end of the year the cost of a kilogram of glyphosate technical in China is 3.65 of the dollar", — said the expert.
