This season, the pace of export shipments by more than 11% behind the same period last season (84,6 thousand tonnes compared to 95.2 thousand tons).

Active export of soybeans the first four months of the season 2016/17 (30% of the crop in 2016) has not had a negative impact on the amount of processing, therefore with the big share of probability it is possible to say that soybean meal exports by the end of the season will overcome the gap from last marketing year.

In the current season the geography of exports of soybean meal, significant changes have occurred, while the leading importers of last season – Belarus and Turkey have given way to countries such as Hungary (21% of total exports) and Georgia (16%). In addition, open new markets for Ukrainian products – Spain and Korea.
