According to market operators, the Department for the grain of Iraq announced a tender to import at least 50 thousand tons of hard wheat originating from the US, Australia and Canada.

As specified, the applications for participation in the tender will be accepted until may 7, and their consideration will end on may 11.

Recall that in recent months, Iraq has carried out several tenders for the purchase of wheat, the results of which were never announced.

This month, the government also announced plans to buy grain in the context of direct transactions.
