Russia increased exports of flax by almost 50% in March
In March it was exported from Russia over 36 thousand tons of flax, which is 47,7% higher than the February figure (24.5 thousand tonnes)

For 7 months of the current season Russia supplied on the foreign markets 453,7 thousand tons of oilseeds, which is more than 1.5 times the value of the same period last season (295,9 thousand tons).

Analysts UkrAgroConsult estimated Russia's export potential this season in the 560-570 thousand tons.

Traditionally, the main exports of flax from Russia goes to EU countries (51% of total exports). Moreover, the leading importers of Russian flax in the current season are Turkey, Vietnam and China.
