The state Agency of Egypt GASC 05 July, will hold a tender for the purchase of at least 55-60 thousand tons of soft milling wheat with delivery 05-15 Aug 2017.

GASC expects to see at the tender wheat supply from USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, UK, Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria. International traders need to separately submit proposals for the cost of sea freight.

The difference of this tender from many previous ones is that it is held on the stock max for almost 3 years for soft wheat in Chicago and the stock maximum of 1 year for French wheat. Such behavior is not typical of the Egyptians, and can only mean that they fear the continued growth of the world prices for grain.
