Here the main argument was weather on two continents. In the United States is hot and estimation of crops is getting worse every day, and in Europe the situation is completely opposite – rains fall.

Cleaning of grain in France stopped. The reason for that, heavy rains, last weekend, almost the entire territory of the country. Most experts expressed the view that the situation could repeat last year, when due to excess moisture most of the harvest was the wheat with low protein content.

Amid these circumstances, the price of wheat jumped by 2.25 euros per tonne. Trading on the Paris stock exchange MATIF ended at around 181,25 € per ton (206,58 $/ton).
