In the regions southern and North Caucasian Federal districts continue the harvesting campaign and legumes.

As of July 12, 2017 in the whole country harvested grains throughout the areas of 2.3 mln ha (in 2016 – 3.5 million ha), yielding 10.2 million tons of grain (in 2016 14.9 million tons) with a yield of 43.9 kg/ha (in 2016 42.7 C/ha).

Including in the southern Federal district grain and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 1.6 mln ha (in 2016 2.2 million hectares). Produced 7.3 million tons of grain (in 2016 – 10.0 million tonnes) with the yield of 45.3 t/ha (in 2016 of 44.4 t/ha).

In the North Caucasus Federal district threshed 709 thousand hectares (in 2016 and 1.1 million hectares). Harvested 2.9 million tonnes of grain (in 2016 – 4.5 million tons), with a yield 40,6 centners/ha (in 2016 41,1 kg/ha).

Winter and spring wheat in the whole country throughout the areas of 1.4 mln ha (in 2016 and 2.4 million ha). Produced 6.4 million tons of grain (in 2016 is 9.8 million tonnes), with a yield of 45.3 t/ha (in 2016 – 40,1 t/ha).

Winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 501,1 thousand hectares (in 2016 575,9 thousand hectares). Produced 2.2 million tonnes (2016 – 2.3 million tons) with a yield of 43.0 t/ha (in 2016 – 40,6 kg/ha).

Winter rape in the Republics of Adygea, Crimea, North Ossetia (Alania), the Krasnodar, Stavropol and the Chechen Republic threshed from the area of 36.3 hectares (2016 39,6 thousand hectares), yielding 71.3 thousand tons (in 2016 – 75,4 thousand tonnes), yield of 19.6 t/ha (in 2016 – 19.0 C/ha).

In agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and the Krasnodar region dug out of 2.5 thousand hectares of early potatoes, dug out of 53.4 thousand tonnes of potatoes with a yield of 216,2 kg/ha.

Vegetables in agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) farms of the Astrakhan region, the Krasnodar territory, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Rostov, Saratov and Volgograd regions and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic harvested from an area of 13.3 thousand hectares, collected 112.8 thousand tons with a yield of 84.6 kg/ha.
