So, after the auction held on 27 July on the Euronext exchange, December futures milling wheat increased in price on 1,25 EUR/t 175 EUR/t, due to the deterioration of prospects for wheat production (protein 12%) in Germany, reports Reuters.

As specified, the support prices have had a long-term rainfall in the grain belt of Germany, which will reduce the quality high protein wheat in the country, as well as the corresponding trend on the American stock exchange due to a significant reduction in the yield of grain in the United States in consequence of the drought. In addition, higher prices contributed to the weakening of the Euro against the U.S. dollar.
