Due to the high stocks of sunflower oil in factories and ports, the pace of exports remained unprecedented until the end of the season.

The three largest countries-importers of Ukrainian sunflower oil in 2016/17 MG entered India (35% of total exports), China (10%) and Spain (9%), have purchased a total of more than half of total exported products.

According to the report, an updated forecast of sunflower oil exports from Ukraine in 2017/18 MG is 5.6 million tonnes, down from 5.45 million tonnes in the previous report of analysts of the Agency, 4% inferior to the result 2016/17 MG.
