The price of products in the Baltic country turned out to be two dollars lower than in Russia. However, due to the terrible weather conditions (heavy spring and fall rains), the country introduced the regime of emergency in 12 municipalities.

The problem with the weather allowed for corn only 3.88 million tons of culture, which, however, slightly more than last year. Pecuniary losses of the Lithuanian agricultural producers amounted to almost € 40 million.

According to the agricultural Department of the United States, in Russia, the harvest of crops this year increased to 83 million tons, which is 10.5 more than last year.
