Analysis of exports of Russian wheat in July-October 2017/18 MG conducted on the basis of quality certificates issued by the institutions subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor demonstrates the increase in the share of grain class 5 - up to 14% against 4% in 2016/17 MG on the background of the decline in the share of wheat of 3 class - up to 5% against 12% the previous season.

"The proportion of 4-grade wheat remains at the level of the previous year and 81% (2016/17 MG -84%)", - stated in the message.

As specified, traditionally 1 place in the list of the countries-importers of wheat of 3 class in the current season is Turkey, which exported in July-October 209 thousand tons of grain or 34.8% of total exports). This is followed by Israel - 103 thousand tons (17.2 percent) and Azerbaijan – 54 thousand tons.

Wheat 4 classes traditionally purchased Egypt - 2.5 million tons (27%). In smaller volumes of wheat were imported by Turkey - 0.7 million tons (7.9 per cent).

The main importers of grain class 5 were Turkey - 423 thousand tons (27%), Vietnam - 355 thousand tons (22%) and Indonesia - 305 thousand tons (19%).
