Of the eight proposed were purchased three cargo including proposed GTSC 55,000 tons of Russian wheat at 229,75 U.S. dollars per ton, and 60,000 tons at a price 231,10 U.S. dollars per ton from GTCS and 60,000 tons from Logistic Garant at a price of 213,05 U.S. dollars per ton.

The offered price for Russian wheat was 3.2% higher than at the previous tender on February 21. We will remind that last week the futures quotation for wheat for Cherskoy Mercantile exchange rose sharply.

In its previous tender, GASC bought 120,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at a price 223,50 USD. Dollars per ton CIF Egypt c dostavki 22 March - 1 April.

In Egypt regularly buys more than 11 million tons of wheat on the world market.
