As specified, the wheat at the reporting date was exported 33.8 million tons, which is 45% higher than the same period 2016/17 MG, barley – 5 million tonnes (up 2 times), maize 4.5 million tons (+7%).

Also this season, in 2 times increased the export of pea - to 1.1 million tons, flour – by 51% to 217 thousand tons and wheat bran 12%, to 707 thousand tons.

"The number of countries-importers of Russian grain as of April 17 have increased to 133 vs 125 for the first 9 months of last season," - said the Agency.

The three main buyers of Russian grain in the reporting period amounted to Turkey – 8.5 million tons (including wheat – 4.4 million tons), Egypt – 7.4 million tons (including wheat – 7.37 million tons) and Iran – 2 million tons (963,9 thousand tons – barley).
