Wheat moved up (+7.0).

Kansas City wheat led the markets higher yesterday after freezing temperatures stretched across areas of the western plains for the second day in a row.

The USDA announced that 360,000 of Chicago wheat were sold to China for the 2013/14 crop year. Jordon rejected all offers in their 100,000 tonne wheat tender but will likely retender on a break lower in futures. Japan bought 120,100  tonnes of food wheat from the US, Canada, and Australia, and Taiwan bought close to 84,000 tonnes of milling wheat from the US. Bangladesh has a tender pending with an April 23th closing date.
