Serbian lowest offer in Iraq’s 50,000 T wheat tender
Iraq held a tender to buy wheat.
Serbian and Russian wheat was offered at the lowest price in Iraq’s tender to purchase a minimum 50,000 tonnes of milling wheat which closed on Sunday, European traders said on Monday.
The lowest offer in the tender was for 50,000 tonnes of Serbian wheat at $315.65 a tonne c&f free out.
This was followed by offers for Russian wheat at $318.82 a tonne c&f free out and $319.69 a tonne c&f free out, with both offers for 50,000 tonnes, traders said.
No purchase has yet been made, traders said. Offers must remain valid until May 30.
