Kazakhstan bans pork import from Belarus
Restrictions are introduced in connection with African swine fever outbreak.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reports about introduction of temporary
restrictions on pork import from the territory of Belarus. Restrictions are
introduced on import of live pigs, pork meat products and fodder for pigs from
Vitebsk and Grodno regions of Belarus in connection with African swine fever
outbreak.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, since the beginning of year
Belarusian companies have delivered about 9 t of pork to the republic.
