Lithuania may impose junk food tax
The authorities of Lithuania consider that the taxation of junk food is normal world practice, which will helps to fill the federal treasury.
- A member of the Seimas of Lithuania Kyastutis Masyulis suggests the government to refuse idea to increase the tax on fuel or cars and to impose a junk food tax, and to compensate pensions at its expense.
- Masyulis also explained that a tax on junk food is normal world practice.
