The company purchased raw materials through the mechanism of the Norwegian auctions Norges Sildesalgslag and Norges Rafisklag by which contracts for the purchase in the second half of 2014, cod, capelin, saithe, haddock and herring in the amount of 31 thousand tons.

The Deputy head of the Agency Vasily Sokolov said that the Agency is ready to take measures to increase the domestic supply of fish for the onshore processing in the Murmansk region. The administration of the region appealed to the Russian Federation with a request to increase coastal quota that will accelerate the saturation of the enterprises of raw materials, he said, stressing that such a decision will likely be made.
