Officers of the border Department of the FSB of Russia in Omsk region, was detained on Wednesday 15 tons of vegetables from Lithuania border crossing point "Isilkul". Products tried to import through the territory of Kazakhstan with forged documents, was reported in the press service of the Ministry.

According to the border guards, while checking trucks traveling through the territory of neighbouring States, was discovered more than 15 tons of onions, celery, artichokes, avocado. The main part of the cargo was grown in Lithuania or followed through it, in Kazakhstan vegetables changed Lithuanian citizenship in South Africa, Israel and China, said in the Department.

Previously, the Rosselkhoznadzor has documented several cases of re-export, subject response food sanctions products through Kazakhstan.

The Ministry was forced to ask the Minister of agriculture of Kazakhstan Asylzhan Mamytbekov with a request to inform business entities of Kazakhstan on the inadmissibility of the import into Russia of goods, placed under the ban.
