"In areas of the Vologda region has opened 15 stores under the brand "Real Vologda product". And by 2018, we have agreed that there will be over 200, they will be opened in each municipality", - said the head of the region.

According to Kuvshynnykova, after the introduction of sanctions and an embargo on the supply of certain goods from EU countries, shops with local products in the Vologda region increased revenue by 25%.

"This suggests that growing food patriotism Vologda, - said the Governor. - People understand that it is quality guaranteed, this ecology is the lack of preservatives, dyes. Today people hands, legs and head are voting for real Vologda product".

The head of the region reported that to date, voluntary certification under the regional brand "Real Vologda product" it has been more than one thousand kinds of products 52 companies in the region. "The products under the brand "Real Vologda product" now we supply in 14 countries and more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation. We went to almost all large retailers. And with such Federal networks, as the "feast of the product and the largest hypermarket "Platypus", we have entered into a direct supply agreement", - said Kuvshinnikov.

Under the brand "Real Vologda product" now, in particular, sold milk, butter, meat products, frozen mushrooms and berries, pastries. On the package of such goods has a special character.

According to the Governor of the Vologda region now supplies in other regions of the more than 170 thousand tons of dairy products, about 250 thousand tons of potatoes, 20 thousand tons of meat and sausage products and more than 400 million eggs.
